Ann Moore has been a member of Scope Club of Cairns since inception. A meeting was held in Ipswich on the 31st July 1977 with the aims of forming a new ladies service club.
Ann suggested to Ann Anderson, who later became the first National President, that the association should be called SCOPE.
Ann was the first National Secretary and was National President 1982-1983.
In 2003 Ann received the Neil Andrews award which is the highest recognition that SCOPE that bestows on a club member and supporter for dedication to the Aims of Scope.
Anne was granted National Life membership at the Scope National Conference in Mackay
