The Zone 2 Half yearly meeting was held in Allora on the 20th March. The Scope members from Allora put on a lovely day at the Blue Care Community Centre, conveniently located next to the Scope Club of Allora OpShop where members from all clubs lined up to grab a bargain.
It is always a great pleasure to get together with the members from Allora, Ballina and Wynnum to share our achievements and goals for the year. All clubs reported being able to continue in a limited way during the Covid lockdowns with lots of successful and interesting initiatives despite the circumstances. It appears we are all now ‘Masters of Zoom’ having introduced the technology across the year to allow ongoing meetings of our groups. All Club Presidents report continuing fundraising and opportunities for members to get together for friendship.
