In July 2018 Graham Cork from the SES outlined the procedures offered by the SES after or during an emergency. Graham also explained the youth program which the Ballina SES Unit offers our local youth. It is called YETTIES (Youth Education Team Training in Emergency Services). Basically instruction is provided in first aid, defibrillator use, communications and rescue techniques.
Our members had many questions answered and it was a very informative evening. We are very thankful to have such a unit serving Ballina and we extended our appreciation to Graham for his time.
