Scope Club of Allora

Scope Club of Allora meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at the Uniting Church Hall. In summer we meet at 2pm, and in winter at 1pm.

If you would like to join the Scope Club of Allora please turn up for a meeting, you will be very welcome.

SCOPE AWARD
October is Scope Month each year we present a worthy citizen for outstanding voluntary service and who have committed a lot of time unnoticed in the community. The 2018 Scope Award was presented to Percy Pugliese. Please see the article on the home page.

In September Members fiercely contests the Annual Ten-Pin Bowling challenge. Families compete for a Trophy with some names appearing on it many times.

SCOPE BURSARY
The Scope Bursary is presented each year at Speech night to a young woman in Year 10 who achieves the highest mark in Food Studies.

NATIONAL PROJECT
The National Project this year is to support women who are experiencing domestic violence. The Allora Club is supporting “Warwick Safe Haven” a refuge for women.

MARY POPPINS HOUSE Scope members have shown people through the Mary Poppins house and catered for morning and afternoon teas held there.
