A meeting was held in Ipswich on the 31<sup>st<\/sup> July 1977 with the aims of forming a new ladies service club. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ann suggested to Ann Anderson, who later became the first National President, that the association should be called  SCOPE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ann was the first National Secretary and was National President 1982-1983. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2003 Ann received the Neil Andrews award which is the highest recognition that SCOPE that bestows on a club member&nbsp; and supporter for dedication to the Aims of Scope. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anne was granted National Life membership at the Scope National Conference in Mackay<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ann Moore has been a member of Scope Club of Cairns since inception.
